Audeze LCD2 Classic over ear planar magnetic, open back headphone. It trades the heavy duty travel case from the LCD2 for a less rugged 'economy' case, swaps wood housing and leather pads for synthetics and is tuned to have a warmer sound more similar to early editions, that many people have loved about Audeze LCD2 headphones since they launched.

The warmth is combined with the lifelike dynamics, clarity and realistic musical power that people love and expect from Audeze LCD headphones. A braided cable with 6.5mm plug is included - the braided cable is a great quality cable that is durable and resists noise, tangling.
The headband is the comfy suspension type and while the weight is still there, comfort is very good since it has such a large contact area. At 70 ohms and a high sensitivity of 101dB, LCD2 Classics are easier to power than LCD2's of old - you should get great results with a wide range of headphone amps and dacs.

Easily endgame for people who can't/won't spend the money for Focal Clear/Utopia or Electrostatics.
Pretty sure the only people who can hear voices in their head clearer were Moses and Joan of Arc.

Audeze LCD2 Classic…best planar for the money.
The latest version of the LCD2 Classic, is wonderfully detailed without being in your face. I’m sensitive to overly bright gear and these headphones present a natural and balanced and revealing perspective on the music without any glare or hardness. They are, I feel more, comfortable than the non classic LCD2 as well as CLD-X that I also tried. Fairly easy to drive, even with a simple apple dongle to satisfying levels but plan to buy a desktop DAC/AMP in the future to get more out of them. Highly recommended these headphones and the Headphone Bar is a great retailer to deal with.

OMG! Worth saving for, worth waiting for...
First of all, I find they are incredibly comfortable. The pads are soft and lush, the headband distributes the weight well (they are heavy) and I can listen to them for hours and forget they are there. I love how these sound. I enjoy planar headphones however I find some I’ve tried are reluctant to provide the bass I want. The LCD2 Classic’s give me that great planar sound and beautiful, rich bass. Listening to music is magical with these, just as I knew it would be. I tried a pair in the headphone bar, before Covid, and I’ve been saving ever since. It took a while but it was worth it!!

Really like the Classics
These are very comfortable and the sound quality nicely complements my modified HD800 by providing the bass the Sennheiser lacks. Also want to mention the very fast delivery and personal service.
