Open Back Studio Headphone. Over ear design, widely used and highly regarded over the years for its accurate sonics, clarity and even frequency response.

Light weight, does not warm up as much as some more closed styles, with huge roomy ear cups and excellent long wearing comfort - the headband softens up in the first month or two, making HD600 great for multi hour daily wear. 

Sennheiser HD600 are 300 ohm headphones and are meant to use with a desktop amp, solid state or tube, to perform at their best. HD600 are completely open back - acoustically transparent, they do not provide any isolation and do leak sound. In return, this design provides the open, spacious audio that HD600 are so well loved for.

The cable is 3m long, impedance matched with ultra low capacitance and is detachable for easy replacement in the years ahead.

2 year warranty from Sennheiser. Ear pads and ear cushions can be replaced easily with Sennheiser parts or a variety of 3rd party options.
