Sennheiser HD560s open back, over ear headphone, designed for home use, to provide outstanding clarity and sound quality with long term wearing comfort.
*Sale ends Aug 29
HD560s is tuned to provide a full bass response, well detailed midrange and treble with a very open, wide soundstage. The open feel is not only great with music, but makes the audio in games and movies more fun as well.
The impedance / sensitivity make the HD560s fairly easy to drive and also provide a similar frequency response from a wide variety of sources, like computers, dacs and stereo receivers. These get close to the tuning of the 600 series headphone, while being easier to drive, just as comfortable and a great value.
HD560s are very lightweight at 240g, have a well padded headband, deep roomy ear cups with velour pads. They do not get as warm as closed headphones and are great for long term use. pro tip- HD560s are not clampy - if you find the HD6-- series too tight, these are close sound wise and for people with a larger head, more comfortable over several hours at a time.
The detachable cable is now 1.8m long with a 3.5mm plug - a 6.5mm adaptor is included. (open back headphones are mesh at the outside of the headphone - they will leak out sound and provide no isolation)
**The new Fiio K11 dac amp ($179) makes a perfect pair for listening from the computer!
Sennheiser HD560s Specs:
The “open cup” design of these cans is really something. The sound does sound more open—to the point where at times I’ve been watching tv and decide to start using headphones, only to realize, I’m already wearing them. They’re also great if u have big outer ears which tend to get crushed by most over ear headphones. They are excellent, especially considering the price.
Crisp clear sound. Each instrument or vocal is unique and easily isolated for superior listening with these headphones. Comfortable and stylish as well.
Comfortable to wear for long listening sessions. Really enjoy the neutral sound of these (I tend to like neutral sounding headphones).
