Audio Technica ATH-R70x

Audio Technica ATH-R70x are an extremely light weight open headphone with a sleek winged headband design and a detailed, neutral, open sound.

The treble response is a little softer than with other, sometimes bright, open back Audio Technica models, making the ATH-R70x easy to listen to for long periods and easier to listen to with pop, brighter recordings or lower quality files.

Ultra light weight at 210g with large ear cups, a replaceable 3m cable and a carry bag. The ATH-R70x is a 470 ohm headphone with high sensitivity, so it is not too hard to power, but is meant to pair with a non-usb powered headphone amp. 

The R70x is one of a few models that are made in Japan.
