A big part of the reason for the gorgeous open sound is the reference class volume control, Muses 72320. It is a ladder resistor style, with outstanding channel balance and separation, which improves the soundstage. There are 0.5 db steps in volume, its ideal to use.

The chassis is 6mm thick aluminum, Cool Case design, with a solid metal housing that looks brilliant and keeps the Soloist running cool. Soloist 3XP has rca input, XLR in and XLR out, for pre-amp output use. There is a mic input on the front + mic out on the rear. Front display shows volume, gain and the output in use.

Burson uses 3 sets of custom designed Max Current power supplies, which helps the amp produce its clean, pitch black acoustic background and high power levels.
