Choose based on compatibility with your gear -if your dac / headphones do not have xlr and you'll be using rca connections, get the 3GT for the rca's on the rear of the 3GT and 6.5mm headphone outputs. If you use a Mojo dac for instance, the 3GT is a perfect upgrade.
Soloist 3X GT adds - and is focused on - the XLR outputs for headphone as well as xlr line level at the rear panel.
