Momentum 4 ear pads are deep with a dense foam, headband feels like foam covered in soft silicone, they are easy to wear for many hours. Momentum 4 have been redesigned for an easier to pack, flat fold design.
Sennheiser Momentum 4 feature 42mm drivers, precisely angled to provide industry leading audio quality and a more open, lifelike listening experience. Using Bluetooth 5.2, AAC and apt-x Adaptive brings great range, connectivity and audio quality. The app allows adjustment of ANC or pass-through, very effective wind noise compensation for the mics, and EQ, among others.
Controls are soft touch tap with a single power/pairing button. Multipoint allows you to remain connected to two devices at one time (eg. computer and phone, so you do not miss a call while listening to music).

Great....for a bluetooth headphone
These cannot really be compared to the awesomeness of regular wired headphones, but compared to other bluetooth, they are great. Pros: Comfy, great mic, great noise canceling, sound good, not creaky, no connection issues, piles of touch controls, app is fine with lots of customization, no weird permissions needed to use app (I'm looking at you FiiO). Cons: Piles of touch controls, sweaty ears, 2.5mm wired connection that doesn't even work, app not officially available as apk. Major Cons: After pausing DAP / phone for a few minutes, most custom settings are gone from headphone. So if you disable touch controls they will return. You might as well not change settings because they are just temporary. Maybe a future firmware will fix this. It appears that the auto off setting does get saved. This would be a deal breaker if this setting returned. The auto off will pause music when you turn your head. Besides the one major gripe, I am as happy as it is possible to be with bluetooth headphones.

Good sound, extra features can be flaky
Reconnecting via Bluetooth is inconsistent. Touchless commands can be overly sensitive.

Great and very effective noise cancelling headphones
I moved to these phones after using the Momentum 2 for a few years, and these are a real step forward. The Momentum 2s were pretty good, but these are lighter, more comfortable, have better noise reduction, and have really outstanding sound quality. I couldn't be more pleased overall. I find I don't really need all the features that come with the Momentum app, but it's easy enough just to shut off the ones I don't use . This is a great headphone and a great value - highly recommended!
