iFi HIP Dac2 has USB input only, works with computer or phone and a built in battery allows HIP Dac2 to perform better than usb powered dongle dacs, as well as to be used on the go.

iFi HIP Dac2 shines with quality earphones or full size headphones from Sennheiser, Hifiman, Meze, Beyerdynamic, etc, for a great listening experience from a super compact device. Note, when using with harder to drive headphones, battery life will be reduced.

TIP! - The XBass can be a great match with open back headphones, if you want a fuller sound from them, for movie listening or low volume listening.
