Astell&Kern Zero1 Hybrid Earphones

Astell&Kern Zero1 Hybrid earphones, high end 4 driver, 3 way design. Astell&Kern's first in house designed earphones and A&K really went to town on these! A Hybrid design ( more than 1 type of driver) comprised of a 5.6mm dynamic bass driver, custom dual BA drivers for vocals and a tiny planar driver for highs / treble. Each driver type excels at its frequency range, giving you the best combination of driver types.

The drivers are integrated using a custom 3 way crossover and a 3D printed mounting chamber.  Zero1 are a bit tougher to drive, so use with a player like an Astell&Kern, or a dac like iFi Go Blu, Cayin RU6, Audioquest Cobalt or AK HC2 balanced dac.

Astell&Kern ZERO1 are made in Japan, have an aluminum housing and a smooth, ergonomic shape, nicely hidden by its styled, angular exterior design. The high end braided cable is detachable with mmcx connectors, made from silver plated copper wire and has a right angle 3.5mm plug. Includes a case along with 5 sizes of silicone tips and M foam tips.
