AK HC2 Dual Dac Cable. 4.4mm balanced out only, ready for many of the new headphones that include a balanced cable. With AK HC2 you can easily significantly upgrade the audio quality from your phone or computer. AK HC2 uses two CS43198 dacs, just like in their SR25mkii music player. The dual dacs feed balanced headphone amp output only (not compatible with 3.5mm cables). The balanced output has awesome specs for a portable product, to provide great spaciousness and stereo effect from your balanced earphones or headphone.

The crosstalk spec is -146dB and SNR is 122 dB, both impressive. The specs for this dongle dac would have been unthinkable 3 years ago. Output is as high as we have seen from a dongle dac, with 4Vrms out - again similar to their sr25mkii music player.

The AK HC2 usb dac has a usb-c connector with a lightning adaptor for iphones. (listening to this in store with Meze 109 + Meze silver plated 4.4mm cable - woo woo!! Sounds fantastic at 50% volume)
