Audio Technica ath-MSR7b, takes the popular and top reviewed MSR7 and significantly improves on the comfort and build quality. MSR7b feature significantly lighter weight and improved ear pads, great for long term wear comfort.
The MSR7b are wired with dual sided cables and include a 3.5mm plug cable as well as a new balanced cable with a 4.4mm plug - found on an increasing number of amps and portable players. The cables are spot on too - very soft and light but they still feel durable.

Top notch closed back headphones
I had high expectations of these headphones based on the reviews I had read and I have to say that they exceed them. Very light, very comfortable but also snug to the head so they don’t shift around. And the sound quality is excellent as is the feel of the build quality. The ‘hi-res’ audio badge on the box is probably a meaningless bit of promotion, but the quality is really at the top of class. The only thing I wish they had done is make a slightly larger carrying pouch so that you can store the headphones in it without having to detach the cables every time- as it stands they don’t fit without detaching.

Amazing Headphones
The ATH-MSR7bs have been amazing. The sound clarity is brilliant, they’re bassy enough for my hip hop / punk / metal listening, and they’re even comfortable enough for 3-5 hour sessions. I would highly recommend!

Audio Technica ATH MSR7b
I am accustomed to the “AT house sound” but was surprised to find good levels of nuanced bass. Their light weight and relatively compact folding will have me conflicted as to whether to pack the MSR 7bs or some IEMs. Remarkably, they arrived in 4 days, even with the devastation from flooding in the BC interior. Thanks much Travis.

Great sound
I was amazed at how much better balanced headphones sound. When i received these, as well as the Hiby New R6 I purchased from you folks, I was amazed at the sound quality of both items. The Headphone bar was very helpful, all throughout my research and subsequent purchase. Thank you guys, Cheers, Dale
