Fiio K19 Dac Amp - In Store

Fiio is launching their new flagship usb dac / headphone amp, the Fiio K19.

It uses some fantastic components and top of the line design, to acheive outstanding performance. K19 features

• dual flagship ESS 9039 Pro dac chips, with some of the best performance available currently
• newly designed THX amp, with 8 amp channels
• dual femtosecond oscillators and high end digital clocking
• separate analog & digital power supplies
• and much more!

The most unique feature though - and the reason the amp launched late - is that Fiio used an ADI ADSP chip to create a lossless, high precision 31 band PEQ  (Parametric EQ). This chip, integrated with the Femtosecond oscillator and clocking system, allows for near perfect EQ adjustments, over 31 bands, with near infinite adjustment options thanks to its parametric design. 

Also, these PEQ curves can be saved, exported and imported - they will be sharable!  Fun idea!

With an extremely detailed dac and a clean, super powerful amp, adding this quality and extreme adjustability of an EQ provides an ideal device to fine tune the audio from one or a variety of headphones with almost zero compromise.

The PEQ software works on Windows, mac and on android via a Fiio app. We are using the sfotware on a windows 11 computer. It loads quickly and works perfectly over our Tidal streaming playback. 

(The preproduction unit we have requires 2 connections - usb for audio + usb RS232 for PEQ software, but we have been told production units will operate over just a single usb-c connection)

The software is easy to use on a laptop size screen, its simple to make adjustments and the changes can be very fine, if desired. 

There is a selectable RTA (analyzer) - as show in the 3rd image with the green lights. 

Fiio K19 is a very capable dac / headphone amp, makes the perfect device as a flagship decoder and provides you with a great foundation to use with a flagship headphone or even several different high end headphones.
